Hi all! I’m just getting back into reading, sort of. I read a bit in high school, so a lot of young adult fiction. I loved the Twilight series (I know it’s not a work of art but oh man did I zoom through those books, went to every midnight release I could, was up in the forums arguing about casting for the movies, etc.). Also read and loved the Hunger Games series, the Divergent series, the Uglies series, etc. I loved how easy these books were to read and how they kept me turning the page to figure out what would happen. I just was hoping some one could recommend a book that was easier to read (like YA types) but in the genre of thriller/suspense/etc. For reference, I love TV shows like Dexter and You, and I was looking for something as captivating as those types of shows. I’ve seen that the first “You” is a lot like the first season of the show, so that’s added to my shopping cart, and I was gifted the first Dexter book by someone and have started reading that. I was hoping for other recommendations as well, as I’m going on vacation soon and wanted a couple of beach reads while I was there. Sorry if I seem uncultured when it comes to books, but I guess I am. Thanks for reading and recommending!
