The book was maybe part of a series. I think I had two. They were maybe either science books or fact books. The illustrations included little humanoids that looked maybe like nerd candies? I specifically remember a page where a kid is licking and ice cream cone and then there is a little explanation and illustration of taste buds and where you can taste things on your tongue like sweet sour salty. That same page also had a kid tasting a lemon maybe? I also remember a page where a kid was trying to push magnets together and there was an illustration where the nerd candy things were showing how plus minus attract/plus plus repel of the magnetic force. I also remember a page where a kid scrapped his knees and it shows the little nerd guys as germs in the wound or something. Someone please help! I loved these books and have searched every possible thing I can think to search. I’m hoping someone has read them and know what I’m talking about.
