Yeah, you read it correctly.
This year I discovered that I like reading thanks to a video on YouTube (The book you're not supposed to read). I didn't even watch the video. I told to a friend that I wanted to read it and he sent me a digital version. I loved it. And thanks to that book, I started to read other books you could call "disturbing" (I have no mouth and I must scream, Frankenstein, No longer human).
Now I need other books that can make me feel the same things. And no, I don't want the usual 1984 or Fight Club. Something that I really shouldn't read. Something that can actually affect my mind for weeks.
Thanks already

Earthlings by Sayaka Murata is pretty fucked up
Tender is the Flesh and The Girl Next Door come to mind. Not the worst, but pretty bad nonetheless.
How did you like I have no mouth and I must scream? I put it on my DNF last year and was thinking about giving it another go
The Road by Cormac McCarthy
Those are all books you should read, but Never let me go by Ishiguro broke me when I read it so I’ll recommend it here
A short stay in hell and I who have never known men both live in my head rent free like waking nightmares.
