I mean a fiction book to not get addicted to (cuz most books i read I binge them in like hours), but something to read slowly over a long time — interesting enough i don't switch to something more distracting like tv when i take breaks from studying, but not interesting enough that it disrupts my work.
No mysteries, spy, crime or adventures, cuz no matter how slow I prolly wouldn't be able to put them down 😭. Something with no suspense, but FICTION ONLY.
I found the book thief to be in this category, interesting, but i couldn't binge read it.

Lonesome dove. It’s sadly too slow for me but it’s an easy read and the general consensus seems to be that it’s addictive. It’s also 1000+ pages long.
