Any fantasy novels in a medieval type setting with mythical creatures and nice world building?

Vengeance and Honour by Ben Dixon is a great medieval set fantasy book with a dragon, the undead, a weird nymph and orcs etc.
It was a cool adventure quest, a masterclass on how to write good dialogue between individual characters.
