I want one of those stories where people start to secretly build from rock bottom to end up being extremely successful and important.
Mc has a grand dream to accomplish that they succeed at later in the book.
Not all of the Mcs thoughts have to be centered around family.
I want to see the Mc built their success step by step, while keeping u on ur toes.
I want to see a healing journey for the Mc.
Family and others would look down on them originally, but when they learn of their success they are shocked. Mc ends up having revenge on them in a satisfying way.
I understand that this trope might be a bit cringe or cliché for some, but I enjoy it anyway.
-preferebly a male Mc, but anything is fine really
-preferebly a romance that helps Mc heal
-unique and memorable characters if possible

might I suggest “Enders Game” by Orson Scott Card. It’s my all time favorite book and it checks many if your boxes.
The Cradle series by Will Wight is exactly this.
