My favorite writers include Emily Bronte,Flannery O'Connor,Henry Miller,Anais Nin,Fyodor Dostoevsky,James Joyce,William Shakespeare,Virginia Woolf, and Mary Shelley.Based on these admittedly diverse preferences, can anyone suggest me a book or books by some other authors that I might vibe with? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Robert Louis Stevenson.
Maybe *Picture of Dorian Gray* by Oscar Wilde
Cormac McCarthy’s books.
Feeling you like the darker edgier classics, try:
Milkman by Anna Burns – 2018 Booker Prize winner – this newer book is written in an original style similar to stream of consciousness – set in N Ireland in a sectarian pro-IRA catholic community. Really good and different.
A Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde – Robert Louis Stephenson
Jude the Obscure – Thomas Hardy
Dr Zhivago – Boris Pasternak
The Master and Margarita – Mikhail Bulgakov
The Stranger – Albert Camus
The Fall of the House of Usher – Edgar Allen Poe
Anna Karenina and War and Peace – Tolstoy
If you’re into Shakespeare, you could check out Christopher Marlowe. He was an Elizabethian playwright and contemporary of Shakespeare.
Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse
I loved The Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler
Carson McCullers – The Heart is a Lonely Hunter
Thomas Mann, I absolutely loved Death in Venice.
maybe bunny by mona awad
