Hi everyone! I have recently been getting into Japanese literature and would love some recommendations.
I have read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami, Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata, and Days at the Morisaki Bookshop. What I really enjoy is how Japanese books often have a calm, tranquil tone, even when the subject matter is intense or unsettling. They are easy to read but leave a lasting impression.
I’m specifically looking for short reads (ideally under 270 pages). Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
