Looking for non fiction (but would consider highly accurate historical fiction) about the American revolution. I’d like the storytelling narrative format of a biography but not necessarily a biography of any single person exactly. I just don’t want something dense and academic.

The British Are Coming by Rick Atkinson. Reading it now. Thorough and detailed but he jumps around into the key players lives. Starts early too which is cool. A lot about King George III which I didn’t know. This is vol. 1 of 3
I recently enjoyed Sergeant Lamb’s America by Robert Graves. Look forward to reading the sequel when I find it.
