    • I have to choose a book from the following. Can someone give me some suggestions based on my preferences? I enjoy fantasy such as Brandon Sanderson, Kingkiller, and The lord of the Rings. I also enjoy books such as 1984 and Fahrenheit 351. Something similar to any of these would be appreciated.

      I think the closest you’re going to get to your preferences is Slaughterhouse Five by Vonnegut.

      However, you’d be doing yourself a huge favor by reading Macbeth since so much of literature, pop culture, contemporary books, movies and videogames reference or reimagine it and the key themes.

      In Cold Blood is excellent.

      Both A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner by Hosseini are also very good.

      I have read and enjoyed most of your list and Slaughterhouse Five is my favorite book. I would go with that.
