    Hi everyone!
I'm learning English as a second language, and I recently started reading Flowers for Algernon. I know that the spelling and grammar mistakes in Charlie's early progress reports are part of his character development — and I truly respect that artistic choice.

However, since English isn't my first language, it can be a bit hard (and even risky) for me to fully understand those parts. I don’t want to miss out on the emotional depth of the story just because I’m struggling with the language.

Does anyone know if there's a version where Charlie’s writing is corrected — at least at the beginning — or maybe a resource that helps readers understand his reports better? I’d really love to read the story, but it’s been a bit challenging so far.

    1. could an audiobook version work for you, do you think? or like, reading along with an audiobook version?
