Love me some fantasy, but so much of what I’ve read feels like it’s set in vaguely medieval european landscapes and times. So many stone castles and swords and shields kings and queens and blah blah blah. All the books are starting to sound the same and running together in my head. Looking for fantasy books set LITERALLY anywhere else. Romantasy is great as long as it’s strong on plot and it’s not all damsel in distress.
I loved the Daevabad series!
