I love Sci Fi, I've just been reading Roadside Picnic by Arkady & Boris Strugatsky, I really enjoyed Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer, and Terry Pratchetts Diskworld series is my all time favourite. Unfortunately having read all those, I'm sort if at a loss what to read next. I've started the Stormlight Archives book 1 by Brandon Sanderson and so far so good, but i doubt anyone will ever come close to mixing a fun adventure with magic and comedy like Pratchett.
I have trouble with focusing, so while i love lovecraft for example, i just can't read a lot of his stuff because of the density of old language. Similarly I started Metro 2033, and found it a bit slow and impenetrable and gave it up.
Any suggestions for what I might like? I'm trying to avoid darker stuff now, because even when its fun (I have no mouth and I must scream by Harlon Ellison is fantastic btw) it's not great for my mental health at the moment.
Thanks for reading ❤️

[in other lands](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/31944679) is a really fast paced and laugh out loud funny fantasy (literally me in the subway). Highly recommend
Xanth by Anthony its a series of 48 fantasy books about as light as it gets
Magic 2.0 a fantasy series that is mostly just computer guys hanging out together and world building
Differently Morphous, a series about Lovecraftian monster hunters dealing with a world that doesnt want secret government executions
