I’ve always been intrigued by Greek mythology, the complexity of the gods, the moral ambiguity, the sheer scope of the stories, but I’ve never taken the time to explore it properly. I'd love to start reading more seriously, but I’m overwhelmed by the number of options out there.
I’m open to both classic sources and modern retellings, but ideally looking for something that’s accessible without oversimplifying things. Something that's still engaging.
Could be an academic introduction, a collection of myths, a retelling or anything at all. What would you suggest to someone just starting out?

Could give Homer’s The Iliad & The Odyssey a shot.
