Hi all! I’ve been wanting to get back into reading for fun for awhile now but I always have the hardest time finding books that I can get into. I like fast paced books and I’ve noticed I give up quickly if the book spends too much time explaining the setting or other generally irrelevant information.
When I was big into reading as a teenager I liked all the typical YA stuff, especially the dystopian novels (The Hunger Games, Divergent). I re-read Harry Potter fairly regularly and can always get into those. I did recently read True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren to try something new and I enjoyed that! I also can’t do anything scary – I’m trying to read while I am up with baby in the middle of the night and I do not need to be spooked in the dark house haha!
