I'm hoping my request makes sense; if not, I'd be happy to try and help you understand it! I'm on the hunt for books specifically where the FMC is deceived & manipulated (or without realizing it) by the MMC or some other male character, and eventually falls in love with another MMC who is better than the love interest who manipulated her. This FMC falls in love with said manipulator, who has intentions to use the FMC for his personal intentions and pretends to be in love with her to keep her at his side. His intentions could be something like gaining power, keeping a public image, marriage, revenge, seizing a throne, trying to marry the FMC for power or status, using the FMC to create heirs, or something like that. Although his intentions could be other things, too. Or I'm open to books where he eventually falls in love with her. If you could provide a somewhat informative response, I'd appreciate it, just don't spoil everything. I'd love some fantasy involved, but I'm open to any genres as long as this trope is involved.
