I've been struggling with my sexuality for a while now (and I don't mean orientation). I realized I might be demisexual and would like to read a book where the characters (M and F) develop a relationship, but slowly and with no pressure. i don't mind spicy scenes, i would especially prefer some where he's not rushing her, listens to her, is gentle and constantly asks her if it feels okay/reassures her.
i've read a lot of dark romance books and honestly if you ever read any we know how it all goes- they're probably already fcking in the second chapter (no judgement, it's just not my thing). i also like dark romance but if i separate fiction from reality I for sure would not like this kind of pacing and intimacy in real life.
also for reference i REALLY like The love hypothesis book from Ali Hazelwood (especially because Olive is also demisexual and Adam is the most respectful and patient man out there- i also loved the 2 spicy chapters because it was so raw and respectful it made it 100x hotter than any dark romance book). so if there are any books like this one i'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to read them !!
