I'm a 22 year old guy from South Asia, planning to study Film Making in the next few years.

Started reading around when I was 10 years old and really got into Beast Quest and Goosebumps. During my teens I got into Percy Jackson and all Rick Riordan books. I love his writing and my favourite is the Kane Chronicles. There are also some randoms I bought during exhibitions, got as gifts, like IT, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Horrible Science and Horrible History. Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people" changed my life after school, so I have been reading non-fiction lately. I'm currently reading Robert Greene's "Mastery", but I'm losing interest in it and I don't want to stop reading because of that.

Now for the suggestions! I have not read any "classic" books (Pride and Prejudice, To Kill a Mockingbird, etc.) so I'd like some classic suggestions. I'm also into Greek history (since I studied Drama in school) so I'd appreciate FUN books about Greek history.

Also, give me your personal suggestions. I've never read a novel and am not a big reader at all, but I don't want to stop reading because it'll be hard to get back into the habit again.

If you're an older person, think whether your suggestion is something YOU would've read in your 20s. I've had so many recommendations given to me that did not resonate with me at all. But I can understand that its because I'm not in that environment/age/situation.

    Appreciate all the suggestions!
