I'm looking for book recs. I guess I like… everything fiction (less fantasy, but still). I'm still reading some of the more complex YA, but I'm also comfortable reading all adult books too. I'm 16 for the record.

I love all the John Greens and Madeline Millers

Also read the Kite Runner and Everything sad is untrue a few years back and loved them.

I tend to have a penchant toward queer fiction.

One of my favorite books is slaughterhouse – 5, I've read it quite a few times, so any other Vonnegut recs would be much appreciated (except player piano, read that one).

My last few books, with my thoughts (I liked all of these actually, this is a good batch), to give you ideas of what I enjoy:

The house on the cerulean sea (both books) – I liked them, fun magic

Everything is tuberculosis – LOVE John Green, and great book, but not too much of a nonfiction person

Bury our bones in the midnight soil – Super fun book with some nice era switching

Even though we knew the end – Interesting, but could have been longer, and a little confusing

We are ok (and Watch over me, but those are a series I think) – LOVE THESE and Nina Lacour in general

The picture of Dorian gray – Classic, excellent

Slaughterhouse – 5 (for the 3rd time) – One of my favorite books, always delivers.

The measure (2nd reread) – Also one of my favorites, very good (and again with the interconnection)

    Thanks!

Did you read Hank Green’s two part series? An Absolutely Remarkable Thing & A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor? I thought they were both great reads that were fun and endearing.
