Going on a long flight and need a book that will grab me immediately and keep me engaged.
Some of my favorite reads the last few years:
The wedding people
Evelyn Hugo
All the light we cannot see
The women
All the colors of the dark
Anything by Abby Jimenez
Based on your reading history, you want *Small Great Things*
Mentalfloss1 on
*To Kill a Mockingbird*
*Team of Rivals*, by Goodwin
*The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks*
*A Place in Time*, by Berry

Lucy Score’s Knockemout Series is on par with Abby Jimenez. 3 book series.
The Water Keeper by Charles Martin grabbed me from the first few lines and still has its hooks in me. It’s #1 in a series of 4 and the 4th just came out.
The Women by Kristin Hannah.
PeruvianVipertooth on
Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr (same author as all he light we cannot see) was fantastic
KTbees on
The Nightingale
nonordinarypeople on
The Plot The Maidens, Silent Patient,
