Hello everyone. I started reading Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari today expecting it to be a brief history of the world but noticed that the book is more “socio-political”, though that might be a fault on my behalf because I was assuming it to be a full on history book instead of anthropology(?) or whatever it is.
So I’m asking if you have any good world history books to recommend. I obviously know that one book isn’t enough to cover all of the world’s history but I’m just looking for something that mentions most the main civilizations throughout history. But also I’d appreciate it if you recommended a book that covers certain parts of history/places/years etc. (For example, brief history of Rome or The 18th century) etc.
Thanks in advance 🙂
