Book with *Special Characters* similar to Klara/Piranesi

Hi all! I'm looking for some books with characters with a unique and special outlook/ experience through a book that you end up loving in the end. I felt this about Klara in Klara and the Sun by Ishiguro, as well as Piranesi by Susanna Clarke- something about their childlike wonder and hope and naivety felt like a special type of radiance to me and these characters have really stayed with me. IYKYK. Any recommendations with similar characters? Doesn't need to be the main character! Thanks in advance!
