Help me choose from this list of books. I want to feel something.
I have these books on my to be read list. I’m not necessarily tied down to a genre. Im more so just looking for a book that will emotionally ruin my life. Just wanna feel something. Feel free to recommend something outside of this list.
I like LGBT/gay characters, emotion, romance, dystopian, sci fi, and just anything that generally represents the deep complexities of the human experience.
- Circe by Madeline Miller

Circle by Madeline Miller
The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne
Circe!!!
I Who Have Never Known Men may hit the spot too, I know it’s not in your list but it’s worth the read.
I really enjoyed this is how to lose the time war but it’s extremely short so you’ll be able to finish it quickly.
I would also look into house on the cerulean sea by tj klune. Lgbtq and found family it’s sooo sweet.
If you’re into gay werewolves, he has a book series called green creek that honestly are some of the most touching heartfelt books I’ve ever read. But they are explicit if that bothers you
Cirice is greate and if you haven’t read song of a Achilles by Madeline miller you should try that as well
Off of your list, I enjoyed Circe and The Handmaid’s Tale. I also really enjoy Riley Sager as an author – Lock Every Door, The Only One Left, and Middle of the Night have been my favorites so far. I am working through With a Vengeance currently – his latest release! I am enjoying it so far, though. Happy reading!
Off your list but emotionally devastating and seems to be up your alley: They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera
