I was looking for any Historic and True Stories about the crusades and would love some suggestions by Mitth-raw-nuruodo97 Related: Literaturre from Ireland/U.K. Books where unsettling/new/unexpected customs and tribal groups emerge Classics/contemporary fiction from the German speaking region Books with a ocean setting (beach town, elements of surfing/free diving/ whales would be cool! ) A book that will blow my mind

PatchworkGirl82 on July 30, 2025 8:12 pm Richard I by John Gillingham goes into very great detail about the Lionheart and his crusade. For historical fiction, I recommend Sharon Kay Penman’s books, especially Lionheart and A King’s Ransom (which I’m currently re-reading).
