Stumbled on Never Forget a Name Again through a random Kindle recommendation and decided to give it a try. I’ve always had a hard time remembering names, especially in group settings or when meeting several people at once, so the title caught my eye. I went in expecting something either too technical or too gimmicky, but it turned out to be neither. The tone is friendly and down-to-earth, and the advice is actually doable, no memory palaces or overcomplicated routines. Instead, it focuses on being more intentional when meeting people, paying closer attention, and using a few small techniques that help names stick. What I liked is that it doesn’t pretend to offer a miracle solution but rather shows how little changes in how we listen and observe can go a long way. I’ve already found myself remembering names more easily in casual conversations, which has made those interactions feel a lot smoother. It also got me thinking about how much of memory is about mindfulness and engagement, not just tricks. It’s a short read, but it left a strong impression and gave me tools I can keep using without much effort. If this is something you struggle with, it’s absolutely worth your time.

Rating 4.5/5 – Great book I found on Kindle – would be great if it had more of a focus on online but regardless was really good
