Ik that this is one of the biggest book subreddits, so I thought there might be a chance that one of you could help me. I read I book when I was younger and was hoping someone could find the name through my description.
It was a black book with white and blue crystals on the cover. It was a sci fi book abt a girl that grew up on a vineyard, but then her planet gets attacked and she discovers that she is royalty. Descendant from a family that had a connection to this giant sentient crystal in space. I remember people would use fragments of the being to power their society/spaceships and that the girl could control the energy harnessed from the them. The only other character that I can remember was her childhood BFF that was secretly her bodyguard. He was like a goat person and there was a whole chapter explaining how when he got shot saving her the bullet bounced around inside him bc his bones were dense. Ik this is lwky all over the place but I NEED to find this book, ts is driving me crazy.
