I love reading juicy memoirs. I just finished Strip Teeโs by Kat Flannery about a woman who worked for American Apparel in her early 20s. Also, I really enjoyed the juiciness of Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams, the story about a facebook employee (my jaw was on the floor the second half of the book). Here are some others I read that have a similar feel:
* Down the Drain by Julia Fox
* I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
* I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain by Courtney Robertson
* Open Book by Jessica Simpson
* The Women in Me by Britney Spears
* How to Murder You Life by Cat Marnell
The author does not have to be famous. I just love mess, especially when itโs not my own. ๐
I read Subculture Vulture by Moshe Kasher, which I thought may fit this vibe. I enjoyed the premise of exploring different subcultures but felt his execution was lacking. Plus, it was kind of boring.
Any suggestions?
