Hello! I am sixteen years old, and I have been growing increasingly anxious and frustrated with my shriveling intuition when it comes to my vocabulary. I’m seeking books that are well renowned, as well as some that stem from your own personal choice that I may have a harder time finding. Please suggest both non-fiction and fiction! I really need to read, regardless of its content.

Good for you, I used to be a much more avid reader in my teens and I wouldn’t trade that for a thing (even if I don’t have as much time to read nowadays). In any case, here are some fantasy suggestions off the top of my head…
The Bartimaeus Sequence by Jonathan Stroud (favorite series from when I was younger, reread it a few years ago and it’s still great)
The Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb (favorite fantasy series as an adult, it’s very long though but it immerses you in its world)
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell (fantastic stand-alone fantasy)
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (great stand-alone historical fiction)
Happy reading!
If you’re looking for erudition applied practically, try Burr by Gore Vidal. It’s a take on the late 1700s and early 1800s from the perspective of a disgraced American politician.
