Want to become better to people in my relationships
I recently come to a realisation that i have a habit of taking people for granted in my life. I want to change this behaviour and be a better friend, son or even partner.
Any suggestions?
I honestly don’t think reading a book is going to necessarily help you the way you want it to. You’ve done the hard part of identifying a negative behavioral pattern. Therapy is always the #1 thing recommended on Reddit and there’s a reason. Try it!
I also highly recommend journaling and using it to identify moments where you may have taken advantage of someone and figure out why you did it so you can become more cognizant of the behavior and hopefully stop it.
Good for you for wanting to make such a positive change! Identifying it is the hardest part.

You are going to need more than a book but “manhood” by terry crews goes through how he came through obstacles and became a more empathetic passionate man. It truly i spared me so ot might help you
