I’m buying a gift for a relative who is currently going through a divorce. And it’s pretty bad from what I can tell. We live kind of far apart, but she has lacked some of her support system for a while, but I’m too far away to do much. Her birthday is coming up and I want to get her a book to help her keep her spirits up and fill time. When we went bookshop before she was quite drawn to the spicy romance, but I don’t know how much she enjoys that anymore. I know she has been in survival mode, so it should be something light and easy the more entertaining the better. Something that feels warm and happy I hope this isn’t too vague. I just want to help boost her morale and give her something to enjoy during her me time.

I run an indie press and we have a romance, A Million Tomorrows by Kris Middaugh, that’s a sweet love story with a bit of a sci fi twist. It’s free on KU and on ebook everywhere. It’s also available in print on demand on Amazon and BN if you prefer physical books.
Cheers!
Absolutely anything by Ali Hazelwood, she writes these breezy romances with narrators who are women in STEM or sports! They’re all quite lovely, my favourites are The Love Hypothesis and Love on the Brain
