My local library had a copy of of Animal Farm that I picked up. Was bhooked. Decided to own a copy for myself. The copy from the library was pretty beat up and had many factory issues that actually made it very hard to read.
Does anyone know the best modern copy of Animal Farm by George Orwell and where I can buy it?

Are you looking for the version with the best annotations and footnotes, or the version with the best aesthetic design?
Penguin Modern Classics edition is reliable. Amazon or local bookstore should have it.
