hey guys! Just some context. I’ve been pretty depressed and am wanting to read a book that might make me see things even a little differently. Some things that make me happy are plants, nature, and animals. I’d love to just be able to see the world, and people, in a better light right now. I’ve also never really been into books. This is the first time i’d buy a book to read with a purpose other than having to for school. I would be cool if it had some lessons/advice as well as just being entertaining. Also not like a kids book or anything! Thank you, i appreciate this so much. Have a lovely day 🙂

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig (fiction) — The first 2/3 of this book will seem rather dark, but, by the end, you’ll be glad you read it — It’s inspirational

The Secret to Happiness by Suzanne Woods Fisher (fiction) — This is a lighter read than The Midnight Library, but I think it does have some helpful ideas
