I've really enjoyed reading The Secret History; The Little Friend and The Goldfinch (all by DonnaTartt)
As Miss Tartt only seems to publish every 10 years or so (always worth the wait though) I was hoping that, in the meantime you fine people might know of any titles that may be somewhat similar either to Donna Tartt's books or perhaps her writing style?

Try Glen David Gold or Michael Chabon.
Maybe The Talented Mr Ripley by Patricia Highsmith would give a similar feel to The Secret History?
Donna Tartt claims to be influenced by Charles Dickens after a lifetime of reading his works. You can find it in her prose and the characters she develops. I believe The Goldfinch has a good mix of Oliver Twist and David Copperfield sprinkled throughout the book.
