Hi! I’m an avid literature and fiction reader, but recently I’ve been more interested in non fiction, especially in the area of either world war. One thing I’ve picked up on, though, is that much of WWI and WWII history is either written as schlocky and disrespectful, or rather dry and stylistically vacant. I can’t stand either of these, personally, and I’m looking for non fiction books in that area that are well researched, while also retaining interest, and while staying respect towards the subject matter. I’m looking more for general histories, but specific topics are appreciated too. Hope this is comprehensible, lol.. thanks!
