i’m in the mood for books with heroines who are sweet, feminine, maybe a little frivolous—but in a lovely, charming way. i don’t mean silly or shallow, just girls who enjoy beauty, clothes, social things, art, etc., and are allowed to be that way without being looked down on.
some characters i love: amy march from little women, kitty shcherbatsky from anna karenina, natasha rostova from war and peace, emma woodhouse.
totally open to classics, modern books, or even fantasy. romance books are welcome too!

Have u read The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Armin
The Stormlight Archive has a major character Shallan Davar. She’s no damsel in distress and can totally take care of herself, but she’s also very cute and feminine. She’s also extremely witty and a skilled artist.
