Hello! I’m looking for some book recs for a friend. She’s an avid reader but is having a hard time finding books without these themes. She enjoys contemporary, period pieces and books with a strong female lead. No spice and no thriller/horror please.
Most recent books have been Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Lessons in Chemistry and Malibu Rising. (some themes in these books were still a bit much for her)
Thank you everyone for your help, she’s a huge reader and has been wanting an escape but is finding more trouble than help.
