Hello! I read an article on letterboxd that described a movie as “of the woods” rather than just something set in the woods. Please suggest a book like that—something atmospheric, with a creeping, almost primordial presence, like the forest itself is a character.

The Overstory has a taste of this. Trees/nature are a character throughout. Beautiful prose as well.
