School just started and my son's English 2 teacher is requesting that they bring a narrative nonfiction book for independent reading. I've read The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson and Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann in the past, but I don't think he'd be super interested in those. Any other suggestions for a teen that doesn't really like to read very much?

What are his hobbies and interests? Sure to be a good non-fiction book around those
Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer
I recommend I Am Malala. I gifted it to my niece’s son. It’s a true story about a young girl’s fight for education in Pakistan
