Hi! I’m curious about some suggestions for series aimed at children/teens that you enjoyed at that age and still hold up as an adult. I miss the cozy feeling they gave me and I’m interested in if they hold up now.
I used to love Malory Towers, Pony Club Secrets, Heartland, Goosebumps etc…

I loved The Great Brain novels by John Fitzgerald, but I don’t know if they still hold up.
Same goes for the Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander.
Trixie Belden! I reread several of them recently, and was surprised at how well they held up. Better than Nancy Drew, for me.
I used to love Mallory Towers!
The Harry Potter series (even though the authour has gone a bit bonkers)
Anne of Green Gables
The Secret Garden
The Little Princess
The Narnia Series (if you can look past the strong Christian undertones)
Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz
The Hall Family Chronicles by Jane Langton is my all time favorite children’s series. It’s funny, whimsical, and very thoughtful.
These were (and still are) some of my favourites:
*A Handful of Time* by Kit Pearson. A 12-year-old finds a pocket watch that can send her back in time to the summer her mother was 12.
The Guests of War trilogy by Kit Pearson (*The Sky is Falling*, *Looking at the Moon*, *The Lights Go On Again*). It follows the story of two children from a small village in England who are sent to Canada for the duration of WWII.
The Booky series by Bernice Thurman Hunter (*That Scatterbrain Booky*, *With Love from Booky*, *As Ever Booky*). Follows a young girl growing up in Toronto during the Depression.
Anything by Judy Blume. She’s such a treasure.
