I’m looking for good books about the napoleonic era, particularly the military campaigns on both land and sea (doesn’t all have to be in one book).
I’m currently reading “The Napoleonic Wars” by Alexander Mikaberidze, and while it’s well written and generally not too dry, it’s giving more of a general overview of the state of the world as a whole during the period, and is less focused on individual battles and conflicts.
I have “Napoleon: A Life” by Andrew Roberts on deck as well, but I’m thinking that’s going to be more focused on him and his own story more than anything.
