I’ve been getting back into reading after not having read much over the years. What are some engaging, imaginative, thought-provoking books that I can add to my list?
Some classics I’ve read that I enjoyed:
– the Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
– The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
– Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell
– Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
– Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut
I used to enjoy dystopian books more but haven’t been enjoying them as much as of late.
Some I’ve finished recently:
– the Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
– Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
– the Secret History by Donna Tartt
– Blindness by José Saramago
– the Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera
I enjoy nonfiction as well, generally in the area or philosophy, psychology, music, or biographies.
