I’ve read Luminous Dead, The Locked Tomb, Captive of the Underworld, and Mad House.

I’m looking for something twisted and where you know that the main relationship is kind of fucked up. Stuff with things like codependency, threats of suicide as a manipulation tactic, possessiveness and jealousy, etc.
​
I would prefer fantasy or sci-fi over contemporary settings, but do like historical pieces more. And I tend to like it more when there are actually characters who call attention to how fucked up the relationship is or where the the protagonist/LI isn’t a complete doormat.

I wonder if you might enjoy Sarah Waters’s sapphic novel *Fingersmith*. It’s a Victorian pastiche about a group of 19th century con artists and swindlers and ladies loving ladies.
