i'm a classic reader and i want to get out of my comfort zone. i enjoy books that are well written, and i love when they explore the inner feelings of the characters, especially about love. i'm also drawn to settings that feel atmospheric, maybe historical or with a touch of magic. i especially enjoy stories about love or friendship, but told without clichés.
i'm not into trendy romance or spicy books. i love Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Circe by Madeline Miller, and Susanna Clarke's prose. do you have any suggestions?
