Hi! I’m looking for a book recommendation to get my dad as a Christmas gift! I was looking through his bookshelf and the authors that he owns the most books by are Ken Follett, Dan Brown, and Jeffrey Archer! I know he also enjoyed the Game of Thrones series. Based on this information does anyone have any book recommendations? I don’t read a lot so thought asking on Reddit may give me some leads. Thanks 🙂

If he likes historical fiction (Ken Follett) then Noah Gordon’s *the physican* might be something. It’s well known so make sure he doesn’t already own it…
Or Robert Harris, he’s doing kind of a mix between Dan Brown and historical fiction.

Steve Berry does similar stuff to Dan Brown.
He might also like an instance of the Fingerpost by Iain Pears. It’s been out for quite a while though.
