Hi! I’ve never read horror before so this is a first but as the title suggests I’d like everyone’s recommendations for their favorite short horror books (preferably not splatterpunk and something I could read in one sitting or before bed). I’d also like for the books to be grounded in reality so no supernatural elements please. Would also definitely want to be scared shitless if possible. Thank you!
