I really have to be comfortable while I'm reading otherwise I can't comprehend what I'm reading and if I forge ahead anyway I forget everything I read.
If I'm outside, I have to be in summer linens. Pants, not shorts, because the breeze on my leg hair distracts me. A light tee. Barefoot because socks and shoes are distracting and I like to sit with my legs up in my chair so I don't want bulky footwear getting in the way and distracting me. My shoes also tend to attract bees, which is fine otherwise, I adore the bees and put out small water dishes for them, but they're distracting to my reading.
Inside, it's sweatpants, beige or black. A tee or, in winter months, a hoodie.
At work, I've found an out of the way and unused room in our office building, and I've put some plants in the window, brought in a nice chair, a desk that was headed to the garbage, and an ottoman. I keep reading clothes in the desk, and have a sign on the door I put up so as not to be disturbed. I use this room at lunch to read, it's my escape from the world, and in this room I only read fantasy and myth featuring small creatures of the wood and meadow.
How about you?

Shirtless in bed. Sometimes pants, sometimes no pants.
I don’t.
I honestly don’t think about what I’m wearing when I’m reading. I tend to think that, if you’re not letting yourself fall into the book unless you’re meeting very specific criteria, that’s an attention issue or a focus issue. Primarily because I read in bed, I read if I’m waiting in a line, I read in almost any safe condition I can.
