I'm trying to catch a vibe. I'm looking for books that are just fun to read. Bonus points if the audiobook version is really good since I'm trying to find something that I can listen to while I work. Something that doesn't have a convoluted tight rope maze of plot threads to follow, and doesn't make me feel like I have to hang onto every word for fear that I'll miss something important.

Any genre will do. Books I've enjoyed that match what I'm looking for include:

    -Legends & Lattes/Bookshops & Bonedust

    -Hitchhikers Guide

-Dungeon Crawler Carl (only read 1 & 2 so far, but I'm not longer using audible, so continuing in audio is off the table)

-LOTR, sort of (not "sort of" to enjoying it, sort of to it matching the vibe)

    1. *The Spellshop* and *The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches* are both cozy, easy reads.

    2. Ilona Andrews Innkeeper Chronicles –A magic Inn, space werewolves and vampires, a lot of really unique aliens, mystery, romance, action, a fun and humorous series

The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter by Susan Wittig Albert are pretty good and very cozy.

The Amelia Peabody series by Barbara Peters is excellent on audio. Victorian/Edwardian cozy mysteries set in Egypt.

The Dallergut Dream Department Store. No stakes, just the story of Penny, who got a job at the store where they sell dreams.
