Hi everyone!
I travel a lot, and during my trips I read the Monk & Robot series by Becky Chambers. It was such a cozy and calming read, I absolutely loved it! It was also my first time reading a book with different pronouns, and while it felt new at first, I got used to it quickly and really appreciated the inclusivity.
Now I’m at a loss, what do I read next?! I just want more adventures with Dex and Splendid Speckled Mosscap, but since that’s not an option, I’m hoping for some similar recommendations.
For context: I recently finished The Travelling Cat Chronicles, which left me in tears (in the best way). After that, Monk & Robot felt like a warm hug. That’s the kind of vibe I’m looking for, something cozy, comforting, and maybe even a little heartwarming.
Ideally, I’d love shorter books since I travel often. I do have an e-reader, but sometimes I like carrying a small physical copy too so compact reads are perfect. But if is big I may get it,I mean I won't bring to my travels the triology of Lord of the Rings, Maps and Elvish Dictionaries /s
Do you have any cozy recommendations for me? I was thinking in read Paul Auster Timbuktu but not sure yet.
Thanks a ton!
