Currently away from home and I'd love to hear suggestions for any books you think would be good for homesickness (doesn't have to be specific to my situation, I'd love to hear your perspective and even what book you think could cure your own homesickness). It also doesn't have to revolve around being home, like if you think something immersive or out of this world would be your pick, I'll add it to my reading list. Bonus if it's a classic!

Secret Garden. It’s a classic fish out of water finding a new family/purpose.
Cheaper by the Dozen. Probably very specific to me. Basically, nothing about it is similar to my childhood home, but it’s a book my family read for the first time together. It gives me so much warmth to remember my family laughing together, years of continued laughter over quotes and retelling the stories. It’s more precious now that my father has passed since it helps me hear his voice and feel his joy. “Did you see the birdie daddy?” was an absolute favorite part of the book.
