my English is not the best but I’m self taught, I’m newly getting into reading and would like to read a book that isn’t cluttered with hard words for someone like me as i found reading hard sometimes especially when reading a book i get dragged away fast.

Fiction or non-fiction?
If you like fiction, the Young Adult (YA) genre has a lot of good books that may be more accessible to someone who is building their English vocabulary.
I’ve got one that should match all of your criteria, plus it’s short. It’s one I thoroughly enjoyed.

Start reading Beverly Cleary. For kids but great stories, compelling, simple vocabulary. Her books are the reason I became a reader
Gary Paulsen, outdoors, adventures, humor. Harris and Me is a delight.
No suggestions on books. However, unless you are reading to improve your English….you can find many books in other languages. If you’re reading just for fun, go for the ones in your native language.
